My plecostomus appears to have developed a light brown spot over night? Any thoughts?

I am not sure if he is growing and changing colors.. just wondering if anyone has any thoughts.. It wasn’t there yesterday, but this morning I noticed a long light brown stripe on him..He is not acting funny or anything.. Thanks
