Does a burned out lightbulb still use electricity if switch left on?

If I have a lamp and all of the bulbs are burned out but the switch was left in the on position, is it still using elecctricity ? If it is a multi-bulb lamp, does it use less electric if you remove one of the bulbs? How about if all of the bulb sockets have [...] http://bit.ly/aHRE7B
